Board of Directors

Yasunaga Matsumoto became our Chairman in June 2024. He started his career at The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 1989. Over the course of his distinguished tenure at the bank, he held a series of senior leadership roles, including Executive Officer and General Manager of Corporate Business Department II, as well as Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of Finance Product Solution Department. In April 2020, he was promoted to Managing Executive Officer.

Noriaki Maruyama became our President and CEO in April 2014. He started his career at The Tokai Bank, Ltd. (currently in MUFG Bank, Ltd.) in April 1989. After joining E Loan, Inc. (currently SBI Holdings, Inc.), Mr. Maruyama served in various key positions, including Director of SBI Holdings, Inc. and Representative Director, Chairman and CEO of SBI Mortgages, Inc. (currently SBI ARUHI Corporation). Mr. Maruyama concurrently serves as Director of THEMIX Data, Inc., Director of THEMIX Green, Inc., Outside Director of mapry Co., LTD. and Director of Green Carbon, Inc.

Tomokazu Yokoi became our Director, Deputy President, and Executive Officer, General Manager of Corporate Division in April 2024. He started his career at The Tokai Bank, Ltd. (currently in MUFG Bank, Ltd.) in April 1990. Mr. Yokoi served in various key positions, including Director of SBI Mortgages, Inc. (currently SBI ARUHI Corporation). Mr. Yokoi concurrently serves as Director of Dayta Consulting Co., Ltd. , President and CEO of NEOBANK TECHNOLOGIES Co., Ltd., and President and CEO of Profit Cube Inc..

Ryota Okazawa became our Director, Managing Executive Officer and Head of Risk Management Division in June 2024. He started his career at The　Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 2000. Prior to his secondment to our company, Mr. Okazawa held a number of senior roles at the bank, culminating in his promotion to Senior Manager of Corporate Administration Department at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc. in January 2022.

Masayuki Okamoto became our Outside Director in June 2025. He began his career at The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 1992. Over the course of his extensive tenure, he progressed through a series of senior leadership roles, including Managing Executive Officer at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group, Inc.) and served concurrently as part-time Auditor for both Cardif Assurance Vie Japan and Custody Bank of Japan, Ltd. In June 2024, he was appointed Director & Audit and Supervisory Committee Member (External Director) at Custody Bank of Japan, Ltd., and as of April 2025, he continues to serve as Managing Executive Officer at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited.

Noriyoshi Kimura became our Director in June 2024. He started his career at Information Services International-Dentsu, Ltd. (currently Dentsu Soken Inc.) in April 1992. Since joining us in 2006, Mr. Kimura served in various key positions including Managing Executive Officer and head of Systems Division. Mr. Kimura concurrently serves as Senior Managing Executive Officer & Group CTO of SBI Holdings, Inc. , CTO of SBI Regional Revitalization Banking System Co., Ltd., Representative Director of SBI Neo Banking System Co., Ltd., Director of DeCurret Holdings, Inc., and Director of DeCurret DCP Inc.

Yukihito Machida became our Outside Director in January 2021. He is registered as an attorney-at-law and started his career at Tokyo City Law Office (currently City Yuwa Law Office). After registering as a member of the New York State Bar, Mr. Machida served in Corporate Disclosure Section of the Financial Services Agency’s General Planning Bureau. He concurrently works at Atsumi Sakai Law Office.

Tomohisa Takeda became our Outside Director in January 2021. He started his career at the Bank of Japan in April 1981. Mr. Takeda served in various key positions at the Bank of Japan, including the Committee on Policy Matters and System Information Bureau. He has been registered as attorney-at-law since November 2018 and established Tomohisa Takeda Law Office.

Tamotsu Moriyama became our Outside Director in January 2021. He started his career at Showa Ota & Co. (currently Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC) in October 1994. Mr. Moriyama concurrently serves as President and Representative Director of Maxus Corporate Advisory Inc., Outside Director of PROPOLIFE Inc. (currently LOGPROSTYLE INC.) and Representative of M&A Financial Advisor Association.

Fumihito Eno became our Full-time Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in June 2024. He started his career at The Sumitomo Trust and Banking Co., Ltd. (currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited) in April 1990. Mr. Eno also served as General Manager of the Internal Audit Department of Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Holdings, Inc.(currently Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Group, Inc.).

Takahiro Yoshida became our Full-time Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in June 2025. He began his career at The Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank, Limited (currently Mizuho Bank, Ltd.) in April 1985. In August 2012, he joined Shinsei Bank, Limited (currently SBI Shinsei Bank, Limited), where he held several senior roles, including Executive Officer and General Manager of the Treasury Division, and later as Executive Officer responsible for Group Treasury. In April 2023, he was appointed Executive Advisor in charge of Group Treasury at SBI Shinsei Bank. Since June 2023, he has concurrently served as Standing Statutory Auditor of SBI Holdings, Inc., and as Statutory Auditor for both SBI SECURITIES Co., Ltd. and SBI Financial Services Co., Ltd.

Mariko Hidaka became our Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in January 2021. She started her career at Chuo Audit Corporation in April 1984 and registered as a certified public accountant in April 1987. Ms. Hidaka joined ShinNihon Audit Corporation (currently Ernst & Young ShinNihon LLC) as a Senior Partner in August 2007 and established Hidaka Certified Public Accounting Office in August 2020. She concurrently serves as Outside Director of Tosoh Corporation and Outsider Director and Audit Committee Member of KYOKUTO BOEKI KAISHA, LTD..

Naoyuki Iwashita became our Outside Audit and Supervisory Board Member in January 2021. He started his career at the Bank of Japan in April 1984. Mr. Iwashita served in various key positions at the Bank of Japan and governmental agencies. He concurrently serves as Professor of School of Government at Kyoto University, Counselor at the Financial Services Agency, Member of Financial System Counsel of Financial Services Agency,　Advisory Board Member/Advisor of Iyogin Holdings,Inc., and Director of Nissay Asset Management Corporation.
